The first dedicated mobile social enterprise in Scotland, Good Call, seeks to remove the mobile communications barriers facing charities, social enterprises and community groups.
According to its founder, Colin Loveday, the social enterprise can potentially save them a lot of money in the process.
Good Call will return profits which a normal supplier would make straight back to the charity in the form of lower line rental, better equipment and direct payment.
Good Call will also create direct social impact by hiring staff from disadvantaged or marginalised group and providing supplier training to charities and nonprofits.
The enterprise was established following a collaboration with Cyrenians, a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) that works with people at risk of becoming homeless and supporting them to transform their lives, one day at a time.
