"No more lives torn apart," "That wars would never start," and "a lifelong wish for a world in need" are just a few of the lyrics to David Foster's "Grown-Up Christmas List," and they're ringing true for Liz DiMarco Weinmann.

Weinmann is the executive director of the Vermont Agency of Human Services, and her "Grown-Up Christmas List" is filled with people she's come to know better over the past year.

"Ranging in age from their late 30s to early 60s, these leaders are as diverse as the populations they serve," DiMarco Weinmann writes at the Barre-Montpelier Times Argus.

"They have families they are devoted to, regardless of gender or marital status, whether they are parents or childless."

But they also "make time to have fun, and to support their fellow executive directors, including attending each other's fundraisers."

DiMarco Weinmann's list includes leaders of dozens of Vermont nonprofits who "make time to have fun, and to support their fellow executive directors, including attending each other's fundraisers," as well as "impressive qualifications" in education, social work, mental health, childcare, public policy...
