A new report from the African Development Bank is urging African countries to increase their use of green finance to fight climate change, the Guardian reports.
The report, which the bank says is the first of its kind on the continent, was released ahead of the 28th United Nations Conference on Climate Change in Dubai this month.
The theme of the report is "Mobilising Private Sector Finance for Climate and Green Growth in Africa," and the AfDB's chief economist says it offers "sound, practical, and implementable policies to enhance private sector financing for climate change and green growth."
