There's a reason CVS is ranked No.
1 on Fortune's list of the best companies to work for, and it's not because it's the biggest pharmacy chain in the country.
Instead, it's because it's "one of the largest retail pharmacy chains in the United States," with a mission statement that says it "delivers superior and more connected experiences, lower the cost of care, and improve the health and well-being of those we serve," reports 24/7 Wall St.
Among its digital platforms: the CVS Pharmacy app and website, which allow customers to conveniently manage their prescriptions, schedule vaccinations, and access personalized health information, as well as in-store consultations, counseling on diet, exercise, and disease management.
It also offers various health screenings, immunizations, and counseling services.
"CVS' focus on preventive care aligns with its mission of improving the health and well-being of those it serves while lowering healthcare expenses in the long run," 24/7 Wall St.
notes.
