Students in an annual Philanthropic Leadership class distributed $58,900 in grants to local nonprofits.

The course is designed to provide students with instruction and experience in philanthropic leadership.

Each student is a member of the NBA 5035 Foundation Board of Directors, and each student has equal weight when voting on grant awards.

More than 5,000 students have participated in philanthropy courses affiliated with The Philanthropy Lab.
