The app will offer tailored assessments, one-on-one coaching and connections to education and job opportunities.
At least $1 million has been put toward creating the app, the Kruse Education Center says.
The $548,700 award is the third grant the education center has announced since January.
The nonprofit previously said it received $712,000 and $750,000 from the Don Wood Foundation.
